Atico Scientific is a physics lab equipment manufacturer, supplier and exporter based in Ambala, and we've been building this gear since 1954. Most of what we make leaves India, our apparatus is working in schools, colleges and university labs across 35-plus countries right now.

Because we manufacture everything ourselves, we stay in control of two things buyers care about most: quality and lead time. So when a college in Kenya or a ministry project in the Philippines places an order, it's our own factory on the hook, not a middleman. Need one instrument? We'll ship it. Kitting out a brand-new campus, or putting together a bid for a government tender? We'll build the equipment list, crate it properly and sort the export paperwork with you.

What is physics lab equipment?

It's the gear students use to actually see physics happen — measuring how things move, bending a beam of light, wiring up a simple circuit and watching the current change. Making it isn't the hard part. Making it survive is. A piece of school apparatus gets dropped, over-tightened and handled by a few hundred students every year, so we build ours to take that kind of punishment and still give the same reading.

Q. Are you a manufacturer or just an exporter?

A. We're the manufacturer. Everything is made in our own Ambala facilities and shipped directly to you, so you're buying at factory prices, not reseller prices.
